The Chasing Game
I was blog hopping and found this interesting quote at OrenzSpace
which says :
"if you want to win a girl's heart,woo her.. then after quite some time of doing the chasing, leave her aside.. when the time comes, she will capitulate herself to u..
as simple as that..!"
smiling to myself thinking of wether this is applicable ....(of course my answer would be as simple as YES)..i don't know about the rest of you...
A guy friend once told me most guys are determined whenever they like someone, that they would do anything or try many different ways to get her..or atleast her attention...up to the point where the girl admits bluntly saying "maybe we should just be friends"....
in other way saying that...unless u tell them ...they won't stop trying...
the weird thing is....as for girls in general....if they do not feel the same way towards the guy...they will eventually try to hint their ways into telling them...not by verbal hindrance...
and guys won't take actions for a NO answer ....they will keep trying their best until they actually get a "NO" answer....
but in other case....
let's say a girl befriends a guy...and they get really close ....closer than just "normal friends"...acting like an item whenever they go out....
the GUYS always just go along without defining the situation..."sure..i like holding your hands while we walk together....".."i love your attention...talking to you on the phone everynight"....
but nothing on "yes we are in a relationship" or what not....
while the girls always wonder ..."hmm what is this?...what kind of thing are we in right now?...how's the situation?"....can you make clear to me what state we are in right now..cause it's rather confusing"....
so the situation is rather VICE VERSA ......
in terms of "refusal" :
woman : hint them .."tolonglah faham-faham sendiri"
man : try until they say no
in terms of "making it official" :
woman : i need to ask him..."so ..kite ni macam mana?"...contoh la..(not me OK!)
man : "faham-faham sendiri je lar"...kalau tak faham...aku leh menggatal ngan perempuan lain
is this making any sense?...

yeap..true..clear communication..i guess you're saying it's best to say it out loud rather than action speaks louder terms ya...
but maybe from the lady side...
kitorang ade sedikit rasa takut to be verbal...mane tau...bile kita ckp "we should just be friends"...nanti diorang kata.."i never mean to approach u in that way"...arghh malu!!!...kitorang control malu gak kan....
just like the guy...they can stop at once if they see some negative signals...but being guys...they have certain level of ego kan...(i'm not sexist..pendapat la)...so they try their very best...takkan nak quit and be called losers plak kan?...

Lebih baik berterus terang aje. We're not living in the 60's anymore u know, cakap berkias and all. Nowdays semua point form aje, no need essay anymore hahaha
But if you wanted to be just friends and you're not sure how he is feeling, ASK him. "What do you think about me?" if he says he likes you, then just politely say no and vice versa. Simple.

but being blunt doesn't indicate us as the 90's and so a does being poetic(berbelit2) for being in the 60's eras....
ways of people's respond towards certain emotions doesn't change through the years dear...

many couples are still bog down by this miscommunication. But it shouldn't happen in the first place.
I was approached straight up front once but it took me weeks before i finally profess.
Nevertheless, I personally feel that its more of timing than what to say and actions. Its inherently in ourselves to assess the relationship situation and take it from there. But i do agree that men try their very best to win a girl's heart. They will go a few more No's until it reaches a firm NO.

that's a respectable view...
but how do we differentiate between a "few" simple no...and a firm no...
so you're saying a guy would go to certain distance to attract the girl...even to a route where he's just drawing her away.?...cause he should be aware that he might suffer the consequences of losing her as a friend...
